Hi all!!

Been lurking on this and a few other boards for the last few weeks while deciding what to replace my MGF (98 unmolested 48k immaculate) with and now the deed is done!!!!

As per the title I'm well pleased with the car being 3.0SE low milage (39k) the colour I wanted (maldives) with the aero kit and cream leather. M sport seats would have been nice but the hardtop more than made up.

Spec includes -

elec folding mirrors
ellipsoid 107's
hard top
loud speaker system
heated memory seats
xenon headlights
aero kit
m suspension
CD multi changer
additional security
cruise control
auto wipers
auto rear mirror

Now including-

cup holders!

No Sat Nav but this wasn't high on my list of "must haves" this being a car for "driving pleasure" and wanting to" look good" rather than the old beat up (trusted) astra estate I use daily for work. I've only added this after reading the "How important is Nav?" thread although I would expect it on a new car from the main dealer.

The pictures are from the traders site and don't do the car justice. It's had Auto Glym life shine treatment and looks awsome and certainly draws attention as I noticed driving the car back to Scotland from the traders in Bradford.

Happy to join the forum although I'll be more of a lurker than poster cause my typing is god dam slow!!

and I know they are like hens teeth but if anyone comes across a pair of cream M sport seats PM me

Cheers JonW

Thanks to all for the warm welcome, You guys have some fantastic looking cars

I've already found some great info on the boards regarding upgrades but first I'm off to source some cup holders before I end up with Red Bull all over the seats!!

Welcome JonW

Really nice looking combination of elipsoids, colour, hardtop and aerokit.
(I'd ditch the bootlid spoiler, but of course that's just my dislike of them)

Welcome nice Z and in the Bond colour  how do you find the driving position compared to the MG do you sit lower in the MG as they look a little lower than my Z ?

Yeah the boot boot spoiler is a personal taste thing. I purposely went looking for a car with the aero kit including the boot spoiler having always like the look of them together.

You do sit quite a bit lower in the MG with more of compact feeling. Sitting in the Z for the first time I felt a bit lost in all the space by comparison.

Welcome along :)

I know a certain other Scottish member based in Aberdeenshire who ain't going to be happy that there's another maldives Z4 with aero kit and 107's kicking around the country! (where are you BTW?). There's a meet planned in a few weeks time if you're interested - details in the meets section. You can come along and make all the 17"-wheeled Z4 owners jealous :poke:
