Think that’ll be a while, plenty fast for me, at the moment anyway

Great looking car and VO is a fantastic colour. I really like that interior as well.
Hope you enjoy your road trip and the bonding process with your new addition.

Stunning car Andy - I just love Valencia Orange!

It sounds like you are going to have a great weekend. :driving:

Wheels changed, RFT’s off and MPS4’S on
Immediately noticed it’s quieter
If all you noticed is the sound, you're driving it wrong.

 I’d only driven the bloody thing back from the garage :poke:

Today was much better, the only noises I could hear was a roar or pops and bangs -it was awesome

Well, 350 miles today.

Left Lochgilphead at 10 this morning, up to Oban, then Fort William, past the Glenfinnan viaduct and onto Arisaig where my dad was born. From there onto Mallaig but the ferry to Skye was fully booked so came back by road to Inverness then up to Dingwall.

Tomorrow over to Skye via Torroden and Applecross.

I love the car, just everything about it, the pops, the bangs and the roar when you plant your foot. The new Michelin’s are great :driving:

I didn’t get caught up with traffic much but when I did it was dispatched with ease. Only time I didn’t was approaching Inverness where there was no point overtaking as you could see the queues of traffic stretching out in front of you.

It seems to be a really good car. You've done very well there. Congratulations.
(Now take the Z4 off the boot. You'll be pleased you did.)

Yeah, the colour really suits the e89.
Seen a few over the years, and always nice to see. Almost bought one new at one point,a few years ago, with same interior, when they started selling them.

Have fun, looking like you have already.
Hopefully see it at a forum meet in the not too distant future  :driving:

Trust me, the back looks 'cleaner', uncluttered and more elegant without the 'Z4'.

As for the sides, you may be wise to leave them alone, because there aren't many 35iS in your colour and diluting the model identity would be a loss.

I would second that, I did exactly the same removed the Z4 from the rear (relocated it to the interior!) and kept the sides badges as they are for a bit N52 identity! :D

Andy, I would keep it as is... its a 35is. You could always de-badge it further down the road if it doesn't suit.

Get all those badges gone. Side and rear, you'll be glad you did. The sheer number of badges on the side of any E89 is just rediculous! 👍😊
