Hi Guys,

Been browsing round the net, and came across this forum, some great information.

Just bought an ex demo Z4 coupe 3.0 se from my local dealer (Cambridge, UK) after a lot of haggling, now just ticking down the days until delivery... can't remember being this excited about a car in ages. Hoping its going to be good, I've just traded in my motorbike :evil:

Anyway, just saying hello.

There are a few strange characters around theses forums but you get used to them...

I don't own a camera, but I can at least stick up the pictures from the BMW web site... but they are a bit crap :)

ahhh shucks, they have taken it down.. anyway 5k on the clock, no sat nav, but its white with black wheels, and the usual extras (comfort package etc.. ) registered Mar 08, I paid 25k (priced 35 new with extras), not as cheap as some of the deals on here, but a good price (I thought).

Yeah, Im a big fan of sports cars in white, although I have never owned one.

The car has the BMW black 18" star alloys, I'll try my best to borrow a camera, I pick it up on the 14th (delay is my end not theirs)... you don't see many around especially in that colour, got to stop thinking about it... or I'm not going to make the week with my sanity.

Yep sounds interesting doesn't it.

Be interested to see what wheels are on it, sound like ACS rims - are they 5 spoke ones with a square-ish spoke/edge to them?

I honestly cant remember exactly which wheels but I think your description is about right; but looking at the BMW car configurator I reckon its the style 203 ones (star spoke 18").
 
talking of pictures, I've just checked out the gallery, errr... I'm going to be really self conscious when I take my pictures... i'm about as artistic as a baboon with a crayon.. and a blind baboon at that !!
 
ahh my nickname; tis a long (and boring) story going back to the early days of counterstrike... See no one is awake anymore and I hardly started ..

What's the general feelings towards White? Some of my mates have been a little surprised.. My only concern is how it will age..
 
Before I bought my white z4 I asked the forum for their opinions.

I was really pleased with the feedback I got, so I went with my heart and bought the damn thing.

I still love the colour but it is a biatch to keep clean. I've developed something close to OCD. :headbang:

What colour is the interior?
 
its alcontara black, with the piano black trim and heated seats, although I think they are standard. Not so sure about OCD I might have to find me a friend with children who need to earn 50p on a Sunday :) child labour is a great thing.

But yeah post purchase nerves ... And if I dont like White it gets dirty and I get used to grey :)
