Well it’s finally here, the 2014 F1 season :)

The results of practice 1 and 2 are looking quite close, Mercedes, Ferrari, Red Bull and McLaren all up there, lets hope we have a more interesting season than the last few.

The pundits seem to be putting Hamilton forward as the favourite already

Hopefully we will see some better results from Jenson this season with Ron Dennis at the helm

Only a few sleeps to MotoGp too

Clocks go forward soon

This is the start of the year!!

F1 :- I reckon Hamilton will over cook the car he's too hard on the cars for me !
I think Jenson Button has a good chance and the McLaren looks quick..... and a wild card would be Massa in the Williams ? He's a true "balls out racer" and remember he only lost the championship to Hamilton by 1 point in 2008. He's been just a wingman since then !

Hmm , a bit apprehensive about this season. On the plus, last year was so dull that it shouldn't take much to top it.

Can't fooking wait me and a very good friend have a date. For very early Sunday morning.

All the hype all the talk lets wait and see. All I really want is a competitive Williams. Mr badger your bang on  Fingers crossed it's not a one horse race again again again again.

Agree Jenson is looking good.

Only thing I am very surprised at and disappointed in this season is that Paul Di Resta didn’t get a drive, he would have been a good partner to Jenson at McLaren.

Also agree about Massa he could be another one to watch out for this season

Redbull to win again as improvements are introduced over time...

Ever the optimist

They were saying today at practice, what happens if all the cars breakdown, would the race be red flagged??
That's how confident they are with the reliability of the new cars!!

Love the Martini livery on the Williams

...even better than F1 for me is the BTCC, season starts in two weeks :trampoline:

I don't think it will be the one horse race this season. Hamilton is the hot favourite, and his car packed up one the out lap in practice today. Even Max Chilton's got a chance of scoring a point this year!

Beautiful...

It looks like 2014 F1 is going to be highly watchable.

I cant see last years processional races being repeated.

Closely matched cars, reduced downforce bringing driver skills to the forefront (some excellent corrections on show), a couple a exciting driver additions, just as fast. Its going to be hugely unpredictable.

Can't wait for tomorrows race.

Really looking forward to seeing how the new engines turn out, finally an excuse to sit on the sofa on Sunday rather than being dragged round the shops

+3 reference the Williams - beautiful

Anyone watching the Qualifying needs to watch it to the last second :driving:

Processional first few races but wait for the updates at the Euro races.

+4 on the Williams. When I saw the early car with hardly any sponsors they looked to be heading for trouble, but that martini livery looks fantastic, reminds me of those 70's cars when I was a kid :D
