Just home from 10 days in the US. Went to fetch IMmie from hibernation so I can use her first thing. The nest was a mile from home but 20 miles have appeared on the clock. Well they do need to be warmed up properly right?
 
Good stuff! :thumbsup: I bet you have missed her loads, bet it was a great feeling to get behind the wheel again :driving:
 
you guys are mad. mine's only a puny 3.0 and i can barely last 2 days without driving it :lol:

if i had an ///M i'd be driving it whatever the weather/season.

yes i agree. running it for 10 mins to "turn it over" will do more harm than good. best to lay it up properly if your going to leave it for a while. clean it inside and out, make sure it is dry. if your kind of person who worries about flat spots on the tyres raise it on stands. put the battery on a decent conditioner (or totally disconnect if possible after a full charge) get a decent breathable car cover and leave it alone.
 
The worst part of travelling away from the Zed is finding yourself on some great twisting country road in some pathetic hire car. Instead of enjoying the drive, all you can think about is how much better it would be in the Zed. :headbang:

I have a company car so that's 5 days out of seven covered and then family stuff at weekends so it's no biggy esp with the weather we have been having.

New insurance does allow commuting though so will use once a month or so for a blast into work.

Only 20 days to go :D

Just got back from a 9 day trip myself. After a couple of hours nap I had to take it out for a drive even though the weather was awful and it got filthy!

Bet you're glad you missed the weather over there :D
 
I wouldn't have it out on non winters where I live November through to end of Feb and I like to keep the salt of it -plan to have it a long time so there is no rush and I quite like my daily.
