weird suspension/brake problem

ok when you first start driving that day, i put my car in reverse to get out of the driveway and with the wheel turned all the way to the right, it sometimes feel like the wheels are sticking as I back out and ONLY when i back out with the wheel turned... :(

doesn't do it when the car has been driven for a while. I will be busy for next few days but I'll try to get a clip of what happens.

caliper isn't seized....
maybe it's the suspension component

does this happen to anyone?

I notice you have the steering held hard on full lock against the stop - this is not good for the PAS - could be some sort of kickback from the system.

Yep I had that on my 2.5 only happened when cold and on full lock - sounded like a stone being shot from the tyre - the dealer checked it over - no problems found and nothing to worry about. Some 3-series do it too.

i guess thats a relief

I get something that sounds like this. Only ever happens when the car is outside and left overnight. On reversing it feels like i've got a flat or something stuck under the wheel. Have got out of the car before now but didn't find anything there at all. It's probably just the power steering kicking back when it's cold but it does feel odd when it happens.

Mine sometimes does something similar, more like a small jolt. I assumed it was perhaps the ABS system triggering from the gravel drive or a calliper unsticking where its left for days parked.

Hmm sounds awful to me, really loud, I can't believe there isn't something pretty wrong for it to sound like that :scratchhead:
