Weird 'lumps' on rear of car?

Very odd! Only just noticed in the past couple of days, but in certain light you can clearly see two strange 'lumps' on the rear of my Z. The offside lump is slightly more pronounced than the nearside. Any ideas?

Rear bumper under stress/tension/compression (delete as applicable!) for some reason would be my guess........I'd think about removal/refitting if it were me to see if any of it can be relieved. :)
 
I can't think of what could be pushing from behind to cause that, however the first thing I would do is to remove the bumper to have a look

Do some silver zed roadsters not have a similiar looking ident on pics of the rear bumper at the bottom? Seem to remember a thread on it not long ago?

Can you feel the bumps?

that's right but it is only on one side and can be seen in any light :P
 
Maybe someone has bump into the back of her , just a little (kinda just rolled back) which may have created tension? cannot say I have noticed on mine :? .....oooo frustrating :(

No other sign of contact or impact though? :(
 
I am not an engineer or an expert, but could the chassis or suspension be twisted slightly, causing tension ?
