Hi All,
I have a brand new E89 (2L) and I am experiencing a weird idling / clutch bite point issue. It only happens occasionally, and does not matter if the engine is warm or not. I've just gone through 1000miles and it does not seem to be getting any better.
Usually the engine idles at 800rpm and 700rpm if the aircon is off. Randomly, and it does not matter if I'm on an incline or flat surface, the idle revs will drop to 500rpm and then sort of kick in an anti-stall and jump back up to 900rpm. Once it starts doing this, it won't settle down till I pull away. It's noticeable and it sounds like I'm revving like a boy racer at the lights (cough*).
Has anyone any experience of this at all?
Cheers,
Alan
