Weird hood problem

Hi there,

Hoping someone here can shed some light on a hood problem I have.

The motor is fine (was replaced and re situated in the boot) however when I open the lid sometimes it "sticks" on the passenger side hook. a quick poke sets it on it's way.

Anyone else had this? I'm wondering if a bit of grease will help? Bizarrely it's intermittent.

Sounds like either ......
The hook pivot is not lubricated enough

Or

The latch pin and location pin (where the hook locates on the screen top ) need cleaning and lightly greasing .
