So I have two chinese teachers stopping with us for 3 months and this was on our menu tonight at home

Taste more like fatty pork with a lot of bones
Whats the weirdest thing you have eaten !!!

Last time I was in China, they were serving duck's tongues - I passed, having already eaten the feet, liver, heart, and "normal" duck meat. I offered the head to the host, and scored big points there!
 
Does human fish count?

Well, its not fish,but smells like it!
 
I like to try a variety of things, but those don't look/sound appetizing in the slightest!
 
In China I was given some great advice - if in doubt tell them your a veggie.
 
I've had chickens feet. I don't think they're as bad as they sound.
I used to live in the Philippines so I've eaten some crazy sh!t.
I'd say the worst thing I've had is dog. Not because it didn't taste nice, but because I have always had dogs and now I can't help but think how delicious they would be in a sweet and sour dish.

I'm joking. But I have had dog. I was tricked into it. I wouldn't have eaten it otherwise.

Another thing I used to eat that I wouldn't go anywhere near now is a boiled fertilized egg. So when you crack it open there's a slightly developed chick in it. Can't remember the name of it but it makes me feel sick thinking about it.

Seriously, some of the dishes these people create are just f*cked up!
 
I've travelled around south-east Asia a fair bit and eaten lots of weird food. Most if it I actually have no idea what it was, I learned fairly quickly that it's better not to know!

Chicken feet are pretty tame to be honest, taste ok just a bit of a faff!

Bugs, beetles and other insects/creepy crawlies are the worst, particularly if they are still alive when you eat them!!! :o

Japan has to be my vote. Loved the Sushi but some of the food is, well, just plain weird.

Flavours that are totally unique and mostly not very pleasant.
