Weird extra washer after cam cover joint change.

Today I changed my cam cover gasket and (2.5 Z4 2004) I was quite methodical about it, however I had one spare washer left over. I take it one of my securing bolts had two washer. Perhaps to give extra compression to the rubber gasket in a certain place? Has anyone suffered the extra washer syndrome?

Can't see two washers on the chart so probably OK

Has anyone suffered the extra washer syndrome?

After numerous engine / gearbox /bodywork replacements / rebuilds I have numerous boxes full of "unwanted/unneeded" parts.

Don't worry, they'll come in useful one day [well. that's what I tell myself ]
