I recently purchased a Pioneer SPH-DA230DAB - which of course is a DAB radio. I purchased the Pioneer DAB Aerial, and fitted as per the instructions.
I'm not sure of the exact key position names, but I assume there's the typical - First click: ACC, Second Click: ON/IGN, 3rd (springs back) Start
When I turn the key to the ACC position, the radio turns on, as does a few other gadgets such as dash cam etc, and the DAB Radio works perfectly. The moment I turn it to ON/IGN the DAB signal vanishes.
Has anyone had experience with this before?
A few pointers:
The DAB Aerial is powered from the head unit. The DAB Aerial is earthed via an earthing strip to bare metal. I've used a continuity tester and checked earthing points. There's no shared earths with the Stereo.
Many thanks in advance
