Wedding venue recommendations

Hi all, sorry about the girly thread but just thought with your collective knowledge and experience you could throw out a few ideas to help me. I had a shortlist of venues and now they seem to swiftly be getting booked up for December 2015 which was my preference for a date - pre Christmas festive wedding :)
So preferred areas are Surrey/Buckinghamshire/Berkshire - open to considering some others. Guests 60-80 A lot of venues I have looked at don't have accomodation on site but I think realistically with family coming from all over rooms on site will make everyone more comfortable.
Any ideas?

Hi Rubes
I'm going to a wedding in sept at Stanbrook Abbey and stopping over....I know it's nowhere near your desired location being near Malvern in Worcestershire but I believe it's really nice....will let you know

Thanks yes do. However I'm on a mission to get a venue booked in the next week or so. We have 5 venue viewings coming up in the next week. Poor Mike ha ha

I have had some functions in here and it is great:

Or where I had my wedding 25 years ago .... Nutfield Priory :)

Tylney Hall in Hook, gorgeous, but would say that as had mine there!

Food and accommodation spot on, if you opt for the Tylney Suite (think it's called that!), you get all the gardens etc for the photos.

Other venues we liked but not as much as Tylney were, Pennyhill Park, The Manor (castle coombe). The second has real wow factor, but the after party would be in lots of smaller rooms as the main bar isn't big enough & turned us off it.

Or I never found the main bar on work events :P Remember a small bar, some medium sized rooms, but we ended up spread around a few rooms. We couldn't take over the restaurant as we weren't the only guests.

We did have about 100 people, most of which are drinkers & wouldn't go to bed until the early hours.
