I really don't understand this.
The website http://www.linkedin.com simply will not display on my main 'personal/business' laptop and has not done so for about 3 days. It displays perfectly on any other machine, but on this one I just get a blankl page. Clicking on the bottom left warning message 'Error on page' it gives me the following mesage. I've not knowingly changed anything and have cleared my history, cookies, etc. to no avail

Sony laptop, Vista, IE8

Any ideas why or what?

Any automatic updates been applied recently? either to IE or JavaScript//Java..

Does it work in any other browsers on the same machine?

Looks like it's having a problem with the js file. You say you have cleared your history and cookies.... have you cleared your cache too? Try reloading the page by "control + F5".

Let us know how you get on

ctrl + F5 did not help

I think I cleared the cache, but given the possibility for a stupid error - I went through IE, Options and cleared everything.

Typing the link www.linkedin.com then displayed the homepage, but as soon as I logged in it went to a blank page again.

It continues to work on Chrome perfectly so I guess it IE8?

(I have to go and do some real work for a few hours - back later this afternoon to look again.)

Listen guys - I'll wait for the boss to come on line with some real help.. wiggle the lead, works for me - will you get outa here.... :headbang:
