Weather stripping separating from soft top after removal

It's only separated on the ends of the U. Just about 3-4 inches on each corner. I definitely don't want to replace the whole top because the rest of it is in good condition... Have the top out of the car because I'm replacing the hydraulic unit but I'd like to maybe RTV this or some other epoxy so that the split doesn't spread and that it seals up more properly. Any advice would be greatly appreciated especially on what materials to use.

Not always clear from photo graphs. You may well be able to clean that up and fix it back in place. Is the rubber perished?

The rubber is good actually it's unfortunately the soft top that's beginning to tear a little bit. It's very strong around 95% of the car just the edges. Guess it got too wet or more than likely it was the previous shop. The previous owner had the entire top removed for an estimate then backed out and when the shop put it back together they left all sorts of bolts out so I'm sure they were less than gentle removing the weather stripping. I've ordered all OEM hardware since then though.

Ill take some more photos in a little bit

So is it just glued together then? If so clean it up and try re-gluing it. I know you can buy vinal roof glue, I use it on our canoes and my wet suits. Not used it on a cloth to rubber join though. Unless someone has documented similar problems, then you are going to have to either experiment or take it to a specialist.
