No - modern cars are properly corrosion protected and I don't see the point in it at all

I think there's better stuff out there now ....cant remember the stuff I've got left from from the Defender ......just remembered and here it is http://www.fertan.co.uk/
But imho (and it really is that) if something is already fully protected then squirting in an oily substance is of no further benefit. It can block up drainage holes, clog wiring connections, makes future work inside any panel a mess. It might have been great on 80's Leyland unprotected rust buckets, but for these I'd leave it alone.
BTW - put some in my daughters rustbucket Ka and it' smelt disgusting for 6 months dripped on the drive everytime the sun cam out and it's stiil rusting because I could't get to the bits where it actually mattered like around the fuel filler...lol

I once bragged to my old father-in-law how good the stuff was and to prove my point, I took a new 6" nail, polished it with emery, dipped it into waxoyl and hung it on his apple tree - A few months later it had started to rust!
Dont put it on already protected surfaces. As cj10jeeper said, it stinks, drips, makes an awful mess and will probably act as a solvent to the existing protectection!

its horrendous to work with and as scrutch says , very messy and all kinds of stuff sticks to it . If any rust is visible on the underside, treat with a rust inhibitor and give a coat of underseal , some people use hammerite products, however , I feel hammerite is to brittle for underside protection .
