Waxing

Mods - pls lock this thread so this trouble stirrer can't keep on and on.

Unfortunately it's not your thread - so if you're not enjoying it then you should just stop posting in it. There are still members who are contributing to the OPs original question...

Wow. Seems that detailing opinions really are like arseholes!

indeed... all experts on what is best... on something so subjective as a wax (or detailing as a whole)

both funny and pathetic in equal measures....

That's funny as you're all jumping in here without discussing the thread title or subject... Which is pathetic!

Enjoy your day

Surely no more needs to be said about the subject with all the experts already fighting over it...

So best just to go fishing and see who bites first... oooh, that would be you cupcake...plus 1 internetzzz to you Sir... :D

Thanks for all the input, good to get different opinions. Is there anything else that is a must when washing/waxing a car?

Does anyone do anything else?
Thanks

Yes, you must relax, chil out and have a bit of fun with it...

Try different things, ways of doing things and different products.

Try to see through the hype and the latest "must have" and that's about it.

There is no "musts" and no "bests" in washing a car (IMO)

Mind you, I sometimes still use 1 bucket and a sponge, I cause no damage or kill little baby polar bears by doing that... and I think my cars look OK..mind you I've been "detailing" since before all these cool kids called it detailing....

I use Armor All Shield Wax (after two buckets, clay then SRP), which makes me the target of some ridicule, but it costs under £10 a pint, takes about 15 minutes to apply to the whole car and lasts months. I just don't have time or the facilities to spend ages cleaning the car every couple of weeks.

Far too much willy waving going on in here. I know more than you type rubbish.

Funny that mate. The only willy waving I see is your tiny pecker come wading in spouting off. I'm passing my knowledge on to a member who is asking. We can compare qualifications if you like!?

There's always one, eh?

 obviously one here who felt I was talking about him. Grow up kiddo, I didn't insult you, so don't unsult me.

So what you're both saying is you deliberately goad people into reacting and think it's ok by calling it fishing. That's called bullying my friend.

Let everyone have their opinion, but please don't make this sort of behaviour into a sport and all gang up and bully others for trying to help the OP, who btw has expressed their thanks to us all for giving our opinions!

Just finished watching the drive clean vids. Thanks for posting them, big help. Does anyone know of a good detailer in Scotland/notth England ?

Thanks
