wax and polish removal

Evening,

what's the best product to remove other products... :?

was intending a bit of a thorough clean, clay and polish but wanted to get as much wax and other polish off prior to claying - are there any reasonably kind applications available for this? I guess white spirit would do the job but not keen on going down that route!

I thought so too but figured there may be something that could be used to get the worst off, or the clay bar'd get clogged quickly...

Clay bar, panel wipe or good old fairy liquid

Iron X, Tardis and a clay bar in conjunction with a lubricating spray/QD are your friends!

the local car paint factor will sell wax and grease remover , spirit wipe or panel wipe in 5 l tins , the stuff the pros use , works for a multitude of jobs and will last a couple of years, about 15 quid iirc.
