Waving to fellow Zeds in the wild

I think the reason for this is because the zed generally isn't an enthusiasts car, a z4m maybe. But the generic z4 is owned by many, a lot who don't care about cars or realise there's even a forum with members waving mentally at one an other.

It's a pity, as the forum is such a wonderful resource. HTF else would I have known about transport mode, falling wing mirrors, flooded drain holes or any of the other things that seem unique to the Zed!

My Dad who drives an MGB roadster gets waved at by anything classic from Minis to TR7s. Very odd. Classic car owners seem to be much more friendly

I think there is a lot of truth in this, I am a member of MGOC and MGCC, when out in an MG always get a wave from other MG’s, Healey’s and other classic sports car owners but in 10 months of owning the Zed never had one wave, same as when out in an MG people often stop when I’ve parked and comment, but in the Zed this doesn’t happen, if I go to an MG regional club meet in the Zed I also get ridiculed and people that will speak to me in an MG wont speak to me in the Zed. MG forums are the same since announcing I’ve got a Zed I get ridiculed.

Not many Z's in mid sussex, mind you they have probably been stuck in the garage for the past few months. Will always salute a shiney fellow Z owner.
