After 2 wonderful years of pain free ownership my little car has found a new owner and I waved it off into the sunset today.

Sad times. BUT ...

I've bought myself a shiny e89 30i MSport auto which I'm due to pick up this week so I'll be sticking around these here forums!

Thanks for all the e85 advice over the years. Greatly appreciated!

:driving:

It's always a bit sad, but at least you've got the next one to look forward to!

Nice one Greg
Considering something similar myself, if things go according to plan.

Nice one. I hate selling cars privately but mine was snapped up by the first guy that came to see it so it was a pleasant experience!

I’ll know that feeling tomorrow. People keep telling me how excited I must be but actually I’m filled with dread. I’m sure once I’m in the new car I’ll be happy but until then I’m feeling a bit emotional and on edge.

I’m sure you’ll love the new one Greg. Definitely a good choice there

Whatever you gone for?

Could've had a mini z4 meet at Staggs :D

As Mr Tidy says it’s at the bottom but I’ve gone for a Yas Marina Blue M4 Coupe......I really like Austin Gold but it’s a bit of a colour that my other half doesn’t like......not that it’s his car nor is he spending money on my car so his opinion should count for jack so went Yas Marina cause I quite like that too. Bit bold, bit different and it turns out he hates that colour even more  he’s mentioned the word chavmobile on a few occasions now

I'm rubbish at letting cars go. But a sound move. Look forward to seeing your new 89.

The clue is in Angie's signature - I doubt she'll be disappointed!

As a kid I always wanted a M3. Had the chance to buy a Phoenix Yellow E46 9 years ago and ended up with a 135i convertible instead. So the M4 is as close to a childhood dream for me as it kinda gets. Plus I’m not getting any younger and I’m still at an age where I could have kids so maybe get the slightly mad cars out the way.

You're not old - well not by my standard!

Love your colour choices BTW!

And if you do end up as a parent there's always the M5.

Cheers. I’ll be keeping an eye out for all the Zed’s. I’ll still get excited when I see a E89. I’ll get a better idea of who I’m looking out for when you get your new one.

Yeah maybe not old yet, I’ve just turned 34 but the numbers are going up.

I’ve not been up close to the colour so fingers crossed I like it when I see it tomorrow

The M5 you say.....well yes there is and in San Marino Blue :fuelfire:

I hope you do too - mind you it'll be a bit late if you don't!

Have a great collection day.
