Water when opening drivers door

Hi Chaps,

I guess this is a door seal issue but wondered if anyone had come over this before.

When I open the drivers door after washing the car or after its been raining there is a fairly large splash of water that seems to accumulate at the bottom of the door only released when the door is opened. This does not happen on the passenger side so wondered if there was a fix?

So far there is no ingress into the cockpit.

Had the same issue a while back,mine was the door seal.
Removed door card and silicon sealed the membrane back,have had no issues since. :thumbsup:

Was the water inside the door held in by the seal or held at the bottom between the door and the seal?
 
The water would sit on the seal on the edge of the cabin and run inside car wetting the carpet.
It took me ages to work out how footwell was getting wet.
If you remove door card you will probably see stain marks on door at the bottom where water as been leaking through. :thumbsup:
 
This is kind off strange as there is no water in the car and the carpet is dry as a bone :?

It would seem the water is sitting under the door and once opened the water gushes off the sill and onto the floor - anyone got any other suggestions please :thumbsup:
