Water pooling underneath

New to me car so I have to ask.

First trip with the top up, 5 miles round trip, AC on. Upon parking water draining underneath. Normal condensation, right?
But I've mopped up an disproportionate amount of water so I'm wondering if there is a holding tank with a release or what causes a 1/2 cup of water after a 5 mile trip. By the way its running out about even with the door hinges on the passenger side of center. 1 hour later still about a drip a minute?

You have no idea how many new owners post this one :lol:

If its water then its AC condensation, there is no holding tank but I think someone has mentioned that it can sit in one of the under-trays. Panic over 8)

Panic over I immediately determined it was AC condensation but, I was surprised by the quantity of fluid. There is water on the floor this AM. At this rate I may have to put a pan under it. Thanks for the reply 8)

Just be sure it is fresh water. No cat pee smell, coolant. No sweet smell, window washer. If it's fresh water then it is indeed simply condensation. Happy motoring.
