Help! I have a 2003 Z4 roadster that is leaking water from both door windows. The water seems to be entering from near the top of the plastic triangle where the tweeter and the side view mirror is located. The water drips down on the armrest near the side mirror controls. The top is secure and the windows and doors are completely closed. I've only noticed it leaking after entering the car after it's been raining for a while. I've never seen this issue after washing the car. Has anyone seen and solved this problem?

I have a 2005, I had the same thing but more towards to the top of the window, at the point where the straight line of the window turns into a curve.

Only on the driver's side, only happened when it rained all morning and afternoon.

I had to have my runners shimmed to realign the windows when I had this problem. Quite common seemingly.

exact same problem

On both Zs I use a product called Gummi-Pflege: it's supposed to condition the weather strips and keep thier elasticity. You can give it a try: it doesn't makes wonders but it helps, expecailly if your seals are dried out...
If you're in the US you can find it here

At HC last year , they actually took a tool to the inside of my door and adjusted the window to tilt towards the middle just enough to stop my leak. I would think that any good BMW shop could do this as well. :)

Mine as well, dealer fix..refitted the rubber housing around the upper edge of door jam where window meets..

Easy way to fix/prevent this is to do a good clean on the rubber parts above the window, and wipe it down with a liberal amount of silicon spray. My driver side stopped leaking after one application.
