Just got my new(to me) Z4. It's a 2004 3.0 SE and I'm loving it so far.
We've just had a heavy rain shower here, and I've discovered the drivers side footwell had a fair size puddle in it. The water seems to be coming in from behind the door panel.
Did a bit of research here, and other sites, and it seems to be a defective door membrane.
Before I go and try and take off the door panel myself, are there any decent guides for a novice on how to remove it? I did search, but couldn't find anything!
Am I likely to be able to seal it with some bathroom sealant or similar, or does it generally need a new membrane?
