Afternoon everyone
I have water coming in through the top right of my drivers window and dripping onto window switches and into footwell.
I have done the following trying to rectify it.
1. Carried out a window reset
2. Checked all rubbers and seals around window, all look good, no gaps and window closing tightly all round.
3. Adjusted and re adjusted window height, and angles as described in a members post numerous times
4. Checked windscreen rubber drain holes, all clear.
5. Cleaned thoroughly and gummi pledged all rubbers
6. Checked for water ingress from door membrane, all ok
The passenger side is fine and has no leaks, despite having a screen rubber drain plug missing.
7. Took the plug out of the drivers side and tried that, just exactly the same, no difference, still leaking.
It does take a while for the leak to start, but when it does it drips in constantly.
One thing is really confusing me tho, when I’m sitting in the car like someone with nothing better to do when it starts to rain and the leak appears, if I literally just drop the window the slightest smidge the leak stops
The leak starts where the roof rubber seal and screen rubber seal meet up, I will attach some photos of where .

I served my apprenticeship at a Ford main dealers 40 odd years ago, MK3 Cortinas etc etc which were renowned for water leaks and I know how difficult they can be to fix.
I know my Z4 E85 has aging parts, but I’m hoping maybe someone can throw some light on the issue.
I’m still looking for a spare drain plug by the way.
It’s 3.20 and I’ve sat in my car for 2 hours in moderate/heavy rain and not a drop of water has came in
Kind regards
Dave
