Water ingress above passenger window

Does anyone else have or had water dripping in at the front top corner of the side window.
This is doing my head in now.
The indis say it will take about 2 days full labour to find.at about 45 quid a hour.
Thats without the cost of any seals needed.
Windscreen one is about 900 quid from main dealer.
Love the car this is my only issue but ime looking at trading it in.
I would love to sort it ive replaced seal above window used gummi pledge stuff.

Hi I had same problem I just reset window and aligned seal fine now that was 4 days ago we have had gallons of rain since no leaks
Hope this helps :driving:

Had another go today with no joy.
Is there anyone on the forum .ime not bothered about distance who could adjust the roof as every indi ive been to does not even think it can be adusted.
I cant see anyway how the rain can get to that point it runs out of the small flap of rubber about 6 inch down passenger window.
Thanks

seems to be a common thing.
i have an intermittent few drips in the same place.
apparently there is some sort of adjustment that can be done, but having three thumbs means its not something i want to do.
again all the seals cleaned and gummi wasname applied.
its seems to get in in the top corner where the a pillar meets the roof, but usually when you go round a corner and all the surface water on roof runs to that corner.
you can wiggle the seals about a bit and make sure they line up, but beyond that i may have to ask bmw to carry out the adjustment :(
annoyingly its a bit intermittent....

Thanks ime taking mine in friday for that adjustment now ive got adjust info.
Not sure on that window setting though be nice to have that also before friday.

Well that was easy.
Even for me.does winding the brass nut OUTmake the roof tighter anyone know

Where is this brass nut you speak of? A pic would help :?
Rob

still resolving mine as well Rob.
its very intermittent, did the window reset, and checked and cleaned/lubed all the seals in that area, but the seal on mine looks butted up to the roof seal, but may try that next if it drips again.
either that or tie an umbrella to the roof......

Hi.there is a brass nut that is locked with a torx on the strip at the end of windscreen in the part where the roof comes down to meet.
There is also 2 adjusters on the leading edge of the roof where it meets windscreen rubber.
From the link it looks like you adjust the nut on top of windscreen but i cant see how that does anything.
I thought the stop nut on the roof would have more affect ie you wind the stop in a bit and it shuts closer
