Water in boot.

I have a leak in my boot, thought it was the rear vent on the passenger side but it isn't, there is water on the shelf behing the passenger seat and i don't where its getting in ? I've taken a picture, great fun after i dropped the bloody phone which ended up in the motor drain.
anyone know the likely area the water is getting in ?
 
Roof motor is in the boot and drain is clear, the cables in the picture are going to the roof motor. The area just below the picture is the where the motor was, the only area on the outside i could see was the rubber trim on the rear wing wasn't flush with the body so I've put some silicon sealant in there.

If this isn't where the water is getting in then i don't know where ?
 
I probably wouldn't have used the sealant there but hey ho,

It could be the gaskets on the rear light clusters, these are known to fail and allow water into the boot.

It could also be water is getting in from around the rear brake light again these fail and crack.

Both the above would be worth a try :)
 
The lights are dry, the water in the picture is from behind the roof drain and i can't see how water could get from the lights upto the drain/shelf area ?
 
Right where there should be a black headed screw ? the water is coming in from there.


Anyone know where i can get one from ?
 
Just tried taking one of the other bolts out and putting it in the missing hole but it looks like its been messed about with on a previous fix (Ross mentioned and showed me when he fitted my new motor) so I've put some sealant in there and under the hoop rail.
 
don't just shirt sealant everywhere thats just a bodge job... find out properly whats leaking and fix it correctly... i hate to see this type of "FIX"....
 
I currently don't have the time to remove the roof nor free cash to replace it, where the bolt should be looks like its been drilled out so not sure what else i can do at the moment. If the sealant changes the direction of any water an 1" towards the door then it will go in the drain which will have to do for the moment.
