Water gathering in battery box

Hi guys, so after all this rain we have had lately. It has only just started to happen. My battery box has started to fill up with water. The carpet to the front of the car drivers side is wet. Is it best to start with the roof drains where the motor would sit and the opposite drain?.
 
Hi,the battery getting wet may well be leaking in through third brake light in boot lid,then it runs through boot and drips on battery and corners of the boot.
Carpet in front of car is often leaking door membranes.
