Watching DVD on SAT Nav

Purely out of interest i have a 53 plate Z and was wondering whether you can watch a film on the sat nav in the car? Or if there is a mod for this?

I can't imagine with the quality and resolution of the screen that it would be worth it.

That said there are TV modules available - but I can't for the life of me imagine they are any good.

No you cant watch A DVD through the sat nav system, it only to read the maps

if you have the tv module you can wire up a DVD player to it.

Its do'able with the tv tuner and an aux cable. I did it a while ago, but disconnected as I never found i used it.

If you have a tv tuner, I've still got the aux cable available if you wanted it?

53 plate = 2003 in the UK.

early 2003 = 03
late 2003 = 53
early 2004 = 04
late 2004 = 54
etc

I'll have the aux cable if it's going? I have a TV Module & Loom been sitting in a box for 2 yrs...

That would be analogue - right? Hardly worth fitting with it being switched off within the year?

Yeah it is.. the plan was always to get it in for a reversing camera & aux in, then if i liked it id swap it for the hybrid as I'd have done all the hard work.

Obviously since then the prices of hybrid tuners are going up & up...
