I’m considering using watchfinder to treat myself to an omega planet ocean

I remember from my first time here (about 10 years ago) there were some knowledgeable folk with sensible advice.

I’d welcome any observations from people more knowledgeable than I am on the subject.

Cheers

It depends on your concerns or what sort of advice you seek.

Generally, if you like it, life is short. Problem is, these days a nice watch can significantly shorten your life expectancy.

Get it on the house insurance which covers theft out and about, so you can simply hand it over.

It’s also sad you have to think about wearing short sleeves, and where you will be.

Pessimism or realism aside, enjoy it and use it. Just have to be cautious.

Also try Chrono 24 in your search.

Before you go off to Chrono 24 or Watchfinder, try Dom at Hackett Watches, his prices are very good.

As above, have a think about what you want it for, where you will wear it etc. Very sad, but in the wrong place it could put you at risk. But a bit of sense and you'll be ok.

Also insurance can be a bit pricey. My watch has gone up in value to replace quite a lot from when I got it, so insurance has done the same.
