STOLE this car for what its worth I think.... its an 06 with 60k miles in very good condition, with the extras, sat nav, heated memory seats etc... and bearing in mind its summer I paid £11900. Happy with that.

Here is my previous whip.... a stunning 4.4 Range Rover 4.4 V8 Vogue on polished and detailed 22" rims....... and a couple of other motors of mine so you get a feel for just how much attention this Zed is in for! lol....

My previous Dub. a show winning Karmann Ghia, slammed on a 7" narrowed beam and running sun bleached paint and 6v electrics!

SO YOU CAN SEE.... I am a bit of a wheel whore and also a paint whore! I like my detailing and always try to push to pefection and so the Zed wont be coming out of the Man-Cave this weekend until its been machined 3-stages and detailed to within an inch of its life! Then the planning starts!

Dont want to push the mods too much due to the relative rarity of these motors..... a subtle splitter for the front, swap out the rims and drop the front 25mm and the rear 10mm and perhaps a different Zorst...... AND ENJOY IT!

I shall post pics up as I get through the various stages this weekend....... Looking forward to a hoon if anyone is around the Essex region!?

Seen these which I like the look of..... AG M310's

Also like these....

REALLY like these also.... but the 'mate-brigade' is trying to turn me off the Blue car/black wheels combination.... we shall see!

Also kinda keen on this look, although perhaps not QUITE so slammed and with black centres...... will see after living with it for a few weeks what I still like then ;)

Nice car, not sure on the legality of your plates though

(I know you didn't ask, but I really didn't think those wheels suited the Range Rover)

Horses for courses I guess... they are Khans so they are meant for the Rangey.... and they were the first thing everyone complimented the car on when they saw it.... years of careful driving though and washing twice a week! :headbang:

Very nice ///M, Those a Avante guard wheels are both great designs and are great quality rims, bear in mind though while 19's look great - the ride on is shite compared to 18's on a Z :?

Hence why I am REALLY beating myself back not to put 20's on it!

19's on my car and I love them !
I don't think anybody has done a genuine blind back to back test so my advice is to try for yourself.

IMHO 20's are too big for the Z4 the cars too small. In terms of the difference between 18/19 I did this from 224's then 19" CSL, then back to 18" over a period of just a few months and the difference I found was very marked in better ride and less tram lining issues. I wouldn't go back to 19's now. I'm not doubting the aesthetics of 19's they do look good - perhaps I'm getting old

Can I ask if both sizes of wheels were fitted with identical rubber?

Sorry, but Kahn butcher Range Rovers!

Also a Ramge Rover should be washed once a service, not twice a week!!

Just my opninion of course. Like the z4 though!

Hi Ronk, No, I accept the rubber differed so not scientific but they were all mid range, 18" vreds, 19" Falken 453's, 18" toyo proxes (current). What I noticed most on the 19"s was not just a lot more minor road imperfections but the plastic trim (centre console, door panels, cup holders) in the car rattled and vibrated in a way it doesn't on 18s!

Completed 9 hours so far..... still got the passenger side and the rear bumper to do. Next its the external trim and finally then the interior. Will probably total around 16 hours or so by the time its finished.
Not done the front bumper as in all fussiness.... I would rather get a fresh coat of stone-chipless paint on it! lol
