But whatever the reason, there are two facts there:
- Her car is in front of the road block
- Everyone else is behind and is being delayed because of her
Ignore any reporting type / style / reason whatever, this happened and it should never happen. There are lots of famous people about that do not get police escorts like that. If this is the case, she should use alternative transport but this should not have been done.

My point is that you don't know what prompted the police to act like that. If it was merely to protect a third rate celebrity from the press than my sentiments are entirely with you. If, however, the press were acting/driving in a manner, in pursuit of their pray, where other road users were being put at risk, would it not justify some intervention? I've no idea from that article as to what preceded that video clip and wouldn't be prepared to slate the police on the basis of seeing that and reading the article.
