Washer Bottle

Ok so over the past few weeks ive noticed that the washer bottle for my windscreen is always empty! after some investigation it turn out that the cause of this is something to do with the drivers side head light washer jet! now the other week i used the washer and the headlight jet actually shot out of its socket and landed on the floor! now my washer bottle holds no water and its becoming dangerous in this bad weather. has anyone else ever had this issue?

The pipe that connects to the washer will be pouring out the fluid. Reattach the washer jet or cap the pipe with a jubilee and remove the motor for the washers.

Yeah the same one - fill your bottle with water an you will find the offending pipe. Motor for the jet is on the washer bottle. I would reattach tho as its an mot failure without it.

It PASSED its MOT yesterday!! not taking it there again!

Had similar issue last month, lost the water in my water bottle, big puddle under the car. Quick check to find that the washer jet had come apart! Anyway got a replacement headlamp washer jet from the stealers only around £60. Took about 10mins to take the bumper off, replace and fit the new washer, replace the bumper. All in all about half an hour job

Good write up here on how to remove the bumper
