Washer Bottle Plug?

Hi All,

Does any one have a plug that fits the washer bottle? I have removed the headlight washers and the pump but I need a plug for where the headlight washer pump would go as now it just leaks straight out.

Or if anyone knows where to buy one please send a link

Can't you just put the old pump back in and leave it disconnected from power supply?

You could, but will need to plug the outlet. Tbh the chance of finding a bung/plug is remote so using the pump and filling out the outlet with silicone would probably be the best bet.

Google ‘rubber bung’ and a few ebay links pop up. I’d push and twist a small bung in the hole. Not sure if even sanitary silicone would go a bit manky over time with the heat cycles and sitting for long periods?

I've got halogen headlights so don't need the headlight washers putting streaks up the front of the car or the caps on the washers flying off!

I left everything in place and just pulled Fuse 40 so they don't operate.

I might try this - as leaving the pump in still alloys the water to leak
