Wash Wipe

When I was having a drive around on Sunday with the roof down the weather wasn't perfect. In places there was a slight spray from the damp roads and my instinct was a quick squirt of the wash wipe. I didn't do it for fear of getting wet so stopped, closed the roof, cleaned the window then dropped the roof again.
My question is, would the interior and me have got wet? I had a Saab convertible a few years back and as long as you were doing more than about 40mph it completely missed everything.

I tried this while driving with top down in December. Got some washer fluid in my wife's face. Can't remember what speed we were doing but it was quite funny.

So what you are saying is wait until my wife is in with me

Its always a dilema when it starts to rain.
When do you stop and put the roof on - or do you punch thro looking looking like a prat in the hope it stops?

I once got caught travelling home on the M5, soaked but isn't that part of the fun :D

The washer does get you.... But not as you would expect.... The wipers brush it to the side and then they come in on top of the side windows!!

If you are moving slow then they def go over the top of the windscreen too... And go all over the back of the interior and top of the seats.

I dont think its the jets so much as the wipers flicking over top of windscreen , but its not a vast amount and its quite refreshing

As above, drivers side only though.

I find as long as the drivers window is up it's not a problem. If it's down then it will dribble down the door card.

Now I have the smart top can close on the move and look an even bigger prat. Or at least a big show off cool prat :D

If you've got your lights on and the headlamp washers activate, the fine mist of soapy water comes straight over the windscreen and into your face.

I've only done it once. Tesco's (£1 per fill) screen wash tasted pretty bad!
