Wash the car with foam

Hi, I bought some elite foam from elitecarcare and a karscher foam lance. Can I use the foam to wash the car every week? the car has been polished last week, and i applied a few coats of wax. Also, what is the recommended dosage?

You can use the foam as often as you like, but it's only meant to be a pre-shampoo treatment to help lift & loosen the dirt before you get to the shampooing stage.

Ahh okay. Yeah I done mine every 2-3 weeks when I first got it. Only washed it once this year so far, but plan to give it an awesome clean this weekend whilst I retro my cruise control! :)

Dilution is 1:20 for the foam. You will soon know if it is ok ...

This is on my X5 so you can see what you are looking for:

You can add a little in with shampoo for your bucket wash, but dont use it on its own to wash your car.

Best on a dry car.

I tried snow foam for the first time last week. Got it all working OK and had the 'right' consistency. However, not sure it was worth the effort as could not really see any benefit over just using the 2 bucket method and some effort!

Ive just ran out of Meg's Gold class Car Wash Shampoo & Conditioner, I found i needed to use a lot to get the suds up, should I just go buy a load more or can anyone recommend a better make for a wash every 3-4 weeks?? ( I try to wax with Meg's gold class liquid wax every other wash so some thing that is compatible please)

The real benefit is a year later when you don't have as many swirls. Removing all the crap and leaving just road film means there is less dirt in the mitt as you wash the car.

Exaxtly ....

If you leave the car dirty for more than a week then the dirt, etc starts bonding to the car's paint... that's where a claybar comes into the picture.

Other than the 1 month of really bad weather and it was impossible to clean the car (i wish i had my car cover then) we had i've only slipped up a couple of times where it's dragged to two weeks.
