Warranties??

Hi All,
I have had my 2004 3.0 Roadster now for 6 months, within that time I have covered over 5000mls trouble free motoring.
When I purchased the car I had 6 mths warranty with a company caller Auto Protect.
I had to claim for a faulty headlight washer, which they authorised no quibbles, and just before the warrany expires at the end of the month I have put it in to have a brake sensor changed, as I have had the warning light come on four times in my onwership.
My question is, I have recently received a renewal from the warranty company, they have quoted £250 for the year.
Do you think this is good value?
I'm sort of thinking anything that anything that could have gone wrong would have by now, as I use it every day.
Any opinons would be appreciated. :driving:

Value depends on whats covered. You'll pay £350+ for the official BMW warranty. More still if you want 0 excesses and break down cover etc. Best to get a few quotes in and compare the pricing and coverage IMHO.

Always worth having though. BMWs are hugely expensive to fix.

You'll probably find that for a 2004 car - the warranties available don't cover some of things you'd expect a BMW warranty to cover. Check what the £250 covers.

Better to put some cash aside for any breakages....

Or put the money in the bank to cover any issues you have, if your competent with a spanner then costs will be minimal. Even a roof motor can be replaced for £300 or less if you just clean it up like many have done.
