Warning lights

The hand brake, tyre pressure and traction control lights all come on at once . The hand brake is fine, tyre pressure is right , the button has no response . Not sure with the traction control . DTC button not making a difference to the feel , if the traction is still kicking in or not . Thought it could have been a low battery at first . Fully charged, no change . Anyone had this problem.

You have no ABS by the way at the moment when the lights are on.

Could be as simple as an ABS sensor, but without the codes, it is guesswork.

List of codes -
5E5C Run Flat indicator
5D99 DSC sensor CAN fault
5D8C DSC sensor CAN timeout
5D97 DSC sensor, voltage supply
THANKS FOR THE REPLIES

Do they clear, or do they persist?
That combination of lights seems to be most often associated with the steering angle sensor.
If an ABS sensor has failed or the ABS pump ( :( ) is dodgy you would normally expect the ABS light to come on too.

The lights persist after clearing the faults. The steering angle sensor is not showing a fault, it did a while back and just cleared. That was before these recent faults. I had a problem with the ABS sensors last year, I replaced them and all was fine . I'm not very car savy , so this could come from the steering angle sensor. Cheers

I looked at the info on the forum about the steering angle sensor, and the fault errors are the same . Thanks Zedbee I'm fingers crossed that that is the problem. Nice one 👍🏼.

I had the same problem and I diagnosed and checked everything the forum told me it could be... but it ended up being the YAW sensor hidden underneath the passenger seat carpet. Cheap and easy fix and the lights have been off now for over a year!

Just thought you should know because I also thought my ABS pump was finished or something. *knocks on wood*

Motionblurrr , thanks for the reply I will try this . Do you have the part number by chance . I'll replace this and update you . Cheers Peter.

Very unusual for the yaw sensor to put the tyre pressure light on?
There is no real correlation between them

What I thought too. seen a similar fault and ended up being abs sensor with no abs warning light

Just to let you know it was the yaw sensor causing the faults . Had a small leak in driver footwell which caused the yaw censor to through the faults . Cured the leak and replaced the sensor with a second hand one £20 . All good now . Thanks Motionblurrr
