Warning lights

So the wife comes home with all 4 of these beauties lit up. The exclamation one goes green when you let off the handbrake. Hopefully just sensors. Any thoughts?

Normally abs sensor or steering angle sensor needs callibrated. Both cheap and easy fixes.

Hopefully nothing worse

Thanks. Just went for a quick spin. The exclamation light is now permanently red and for good measure the Speedometer has stopped working.

Unusual for the speedo to stop working. How old is your battery, are you able to measure the voltage on it? Really need to get a code reader on it, but one or more of the ABS sensors would be my guess too.

I have just had those exact lights and it was abs sensor.
Not too expensive or difficult, but my handbrake light was yellow when handbrake was off and speedo was OK. :driving:

Just had word from my wife via garage. The driveshaft has rubbed the hell out of the sensors. New one on me, but there you go.

..as in more than 1 sensor at the same time? Sounds pretty coincidental but maybe that's why it kills the speedo also.

I believe one of the ABS sensors also provides the signal to the speedo (right rear ?). So when it goes you get all the lovely lights and the speedo stops working. Usually the toothed ring on the hub rusts, expands a bit and then rubs on the sensor.

So in conclusion, it was corroded swollen rear ABS reluctor rings. They drilled them out and replaced two new sensors and fitted spaces to create air gaps. Above my pay grade but that was the diagnosis.
Cheers all!!
