Hi
Took my 2008 Z4 2l out today and 3 mins into the journey it beeped and the abs, tyre light, hand brake, traction control off light all came on together I came straight back any ideas what’s going on
Thanks

All four is usually one of the wheel speed sensors.
If the speedo still works it’s not the rear left.
Need codes to tell you which one it is.

Fingers crossed, found a reader will no doubt be asking what the codes mean tomorrow 😔
If it’s a good reader it’ll be simple. My Autophix simply says ‘front left speed sensor broken’ for example.

Hi do have connected an obi reader and have got this see pic IMG_9100.jpeg
Lights still on any suggestions or ideas gratefully received

Good readers (i.e. which most forum members rely on) are Creator 310+ and autophix 5900. There are others. Autophix more expensive but easier to use. Both read and reset (where permitted) all BMW codes.

Update
Put a decent reader on it and it’s come up with these faults

Can any one explain what I need to do next please

Yup, forget the Steering Angle one for now, it may be affected by not knowing what speed the front left wheel is rotating at.
If not, we can address that separately.
Firstly though, you need to get a new wheel speed sensor for the front left wheel.
BMW actually call it a 'pulse generator'.
Part number for the front left is: 34 52 6792897 (Item 5)

Item 6 - the retaining bolt, has an allen key head that is made of cheese, so go very careful when removing it.

Thank you so much for quick reply
Will order that part now
If you are doing it yourself then I would recommend soaking that bolt with plusgas or similar for a while: and make sure you have an absolutely perfect fitting allen key. (In fact, double check in case I'm wrong and it's a torx head, but pretty sure it's an allen key)
