Warning lights ...help

Hi,

Newbie here..... This morning I got some warning lights on the dash. The car started as normal and had the usual beep as the temperature was just +2.

I then noticed that the handbrake light was on however in yellow rather than red and the DSC was illuminated in normal yellow. No other warning lights. I stopped the car and then restarted the car and everything seemed normal (No warning lights). I then realised that the date and time is no longer set?

Does anybody know what this combination of warning lights could be. Do i need to start saving

its for a malfunction in the driving stability system, by the sound of it it could be just a bit slippage on the ice when the DTC has kicked in..... worst case is something wrong with the drive-off assistant..

I would just keep an eye on it, unless someone else knows better

How old is the car/battery. With the time/date resetting it could be the first signs of battery failure and the cold weather will crtainly not help. Go for the simplest options first and get the battery checked before you shell out loads on other diagnostics.

Thanks everyone, not sure how old the battery is. Will get the battery checked and will check all invoices for a battery. Will also ping the previous owner to see if he every changed the battery.

Not feeling too worried now .....thanks everyone.
