Third brake light isn't monitored, the plug had disconnected on mine and I had no idea until someone told me it wasn't working.
If you don't have any other bulbs out and you haven't messed with anything else it could be your battery on the way out, mine kept throwing bulb errors when nothing was wrong.... Few week later dead battery. New battery and everything is fine again
