Wanting to change sidelights and number lights to white LEDs

Ive been doing a bit of research on the forum as I am looking to change my the dull yellowish number plate and sidelights for white LED equivelents. On other cars I have owned it was just a case of buying some nice bright LEDs and sticking them in there, after looking on the forum here, it seems more complicated than this or has came across that way to me...mainly because of this bulb checklight that your dash seems to throw up from fitting LEDs.

So could someone please point me in the right direction of where to get a good set of LED sidelights and number plate lights which wont give me warning lights in the dash and only require unpluging old and reinserting new if that is possible? Thanks. I drive a z4 coupe and only have the halogen headlights but intend to get a HID kit too in the not to distint future, just thought I would add that one in :) Many thanks

Thanks, the number plate light look like a good job but would the LED sidelights not trip the bulb failure light inside the car because it uses such a low voltage?
 
I changed my licence plate bulbs with some LED's and they look much nicer

But i have been looking for decent LED's for the halo's for ages.. triend some ebay ones but only half the rings lit up!
 
Number plate lights are looking good fella, you really need them with the black car to set it off at night at the back. Got something similar on the way and a set of sidelights, pity about your sidelights, hopefully these ones will do the job. Thanks for the photos btw 8)
