Room in my garage..... Budget £10,000. Only extra I would like is airbag deactivation. Not 100% a must but preferred. Private sale only. I'm always looking on trader and pistonheads so I'm fully aware of what's about at the moment. Happy to travel.

Thanks. James

Welcome James... might have to be patient, but you have come to the right place. My car is a forum car - travelled to Aberdeen to buy mine, which was an event in its self

Good luck with the search mate

Thanks. Yours us stunning.. I've followed the link.

No rush. 3rd car and 2nd toy. Nearly completed the rebuild on a Z4 2.5 that I bought and specced new in 2003 then sold after one year and found again on trader last year. The car stands me at over twice what it's worth. It's fab and I'll never sell it...

As above think you will be in for a long wait. Cheapest I can see is a 100k coupe on eBay @ 12k

Woots sold his roadster on here a week or so ago and that was cheap at 10.5k so it is possible, just depends how desperate the seller is I guess.

your in for a very long wait for a dog rough car...woots only sold his at 10k as he wanted out and was getting a company car, he simply just wanted to pay off the finance and move on.... you'll be lucky to get a another decent car for such price.

This is a car that you very much get what you pay for, a 10k example will likely cost you a fortune.

Everybody seems to be concerned with rushing... No rush. 3rd car. 2nd toy. Happy to wait... Happy to spend money on a car once I get it. Probably rebuild it as brand new, per my 2.5i which is worth about 5k and stands me at 12k ish.. Nostalgia!

ha ha...

Its the right time of year to buy a cheap one...

Within a few months they will be on the rise again..

i eat my words, super clean looking, 1 owner ( literally super rare) and looks in fabulous condition, seen much lower ones look much much worse, refresh rod bearings and enjoy a very nice car as sed before this car has been LOVED and enjoyed.

Big Bump. May consider a si MC as long as it has air bag deactivation. Budget 8k for a SI

Thanks.. My budget actually stretches as far as ..... Well a 997 or poss a 991. But that's not the point. Quite happy to buy a car that I can bring back to life. Mrs thinks I'm mad. Not to worry. She's probably right... But. And that's it. But. I have a real passion for the old shape Z4's... The original. As far as I'm concerned anyway. If it was easy to upload photos. I'd put some of my - now mint 2003 2.5. She's lovely... BTW. I'mI about to but a new set of 108's with Bridgestones. If somebody has some. Brand new and as per - they left the factory the day before yesterday. Please Let me know

Btw number 2. I'm looking for a manual in regards to the si

James.

It's the airbag deactivation that you will struggle with. I'm hoping its a big selling point when I finally decide to part with mine as I have seen a lot of people interested but very few cars with it and the isofix.

I've been keeping an eye on the market since buying mine - £10k for an ///M realistically looks like it will take years. Perhaps start a new thread for an Si and bump that every so often, save a lack of responses chap?

Can't believe how these have gone up over the past couple years. I struggled to shift mine 2.5 years ago for £10k
