Hi guys,

I currently have a Z4MR in Interlagos blue - however, as I now plan on having mine as a garage queen/second vehicle, and mine doesn't quite have all the spec I'd like, I'd be interested in any cars that come up as follows;

Z4MR
2007 or younger
Interlagos Blue
Options necessary - PDC, Folding mirrors, deflector, leather carbon dash
Full BMW service history is a must

Drop me a note with anything you have. Would also consider other blues or even a darker silver, but not black/red/silver. Naturally I am in no rush, but will bump this from time to time based on interest/availability of cars.

I have an ongoing interested party in mine (my father) and the cash to budget up to £20k, so there will be no delay on my part if you are genuinely interested in selling.

Thanks,

James

What's the issue with keeping yours then :?

Better the devil you know I think over a few options.

No issue chap - just be keen to have things like PDC and folding mirrors while storing it in the new garage. Had thought of retrofitting but just seems like a faff!

I'd also thought about a younger, lower mileage version... but appreciate this will be like finding hens teeth!

Really?! PDC is neither here nor there on these cars and folding mirrors...use your hands?! Seems like an odd thing to lust after with all the hassle of buying a new car and a potentially lemon in other departments (ie. engine) but each to their own I guess! I'd be tempted to offer you mine with all those options ticked but it's probs too high mileage for you and 2006 :\

My view to. Age is nothing as there is only 2 years really from start to finish. Mileage, problem is it keeps going up, I'm on 45k now, which has taken me 4.5 years to do 10k and this plays on my mind which is stupid as in some way I don't want to drive to keep it low. I do though and put 2k on it in 5 days back in April.

Stick with what you got, you will kick yourself if you change and end up with major engine work a few months down the line.

PDC is useful if you park in a garage. I don't think when reversing dads car into his, so I can think about where the wheels are and sides are, rather than back.

Folding mirrors, I'm not a big guy, but reaching across to the passenger side, rather than a button at my right hand, is a faff each time.

Appreciate the input guys, but I'm in no rush to sell and buy.

tbh i think you'll be waiting a long time anyway, whens the last time a low mile one of these came up in that exact spec without being too much money.... ??

Were heated seats optional? If so, I've got those options on my Z4MR (heated seats, carbon leather, PDC, folding mirrors, deflector) and they are a great combination so in your position I'd hold out for them.

Folding mirrors I use least but if I was putting in a garage it would be useful in sure.

What mileage is yours now (and what are you looking for?) Not looking to sell mine as I love it, but might help others who are on the fence.

I'm not looking to swap chap. My father will be taking mine. Unless I've misunderstood?
