Hi and welcome,

To get a response I feel you need to specify a little more about what you are seeking. Price range, specification, colour, if location is important, etc.

Sorry gents,

My apologies. I'm looking for any coloured Z4MC within the budget of £12,500 cash available now. I'm looking for the best deal available and ideally close to London as I'm located here (though willing to travel for the right deal). It should ideally not have travelled more than 57,000 miles and have recently been serviced.

Does that help?

That's a very precise mileage requirement!

I think you'll struggle to get one at £12.5k with that mileage stipulation. You may well need another £1k adding to that budget.

As above £12.5k is really at the bottom end of Z4MC prices. Why 57k mileage?

If you upped your budget to £14k you'd get yourself into a realistic level. Given that summer is approaching also prices are likely to stay a little higher.

Any colours you are looking for specifically?

There's a Cat D example on PH or AT (can't remember which exactly). Sounds mechanically OK and the seller has been upfront and honest which is normally a good sign!

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Is the Cat D car an 07 plate, black with champagne trim?

If it is,then steer clear because it has had a right wack on the front and sides. Im suprised it was let back onto the road.

Oh.....To the OP...........As has been said,£12,500 is pretty much the bottom end of Z4MC prices. I would be very suprised if you met your requirements for the money.. I would say a car with 80k+ would be more in line with budget.

Stick £500 on your budget and be a little flexible on miles and Woody's car would suit. It has a forum history, just serviced and well specced.

No not the one you mentioned Z4M.

It's an interlagos model. Personally I wouldn't be interested, but if OP wants an ///MC for £12.5k without >75k mileage this is probably his only option.

Very rarely will you see a genuine example for less than £13k. I also think at that end of the market there is less scope for negotiation

Well, £12,500 is all that I have. On the off chance someone wants to get rid of their pride and joy for some quick cash I'm on the market. All that I require is the car to be in good condition, never been in an accident, mechanically and electrically sound. Mileage wise, 57,000 is just a random number from the top of my head. Ideally, I would prefer cars that are not in the 60k+ range as maintenance becomes an issue moving forward. If someone wants to do a deal then I'm your guy. Happy to wait for the right deal, time is what I have a lot of.

Hi everyone,

I'm heading up to Scotland on Saturday to take a look at this car.

http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/bmw/z4m-coupe/2006-z4m-coupe-imola-red--immaculate-only-41-500-miles/1314934

It's only done 41k on the odometer and the price is very reasonable, 4 previous owners is a bit of a concern and the price is very cheap for the low mileage.

Would appreciate seasoned members take a look and let me know if this is too good to be true or a good deal?

Cheers,
J

Looks a bargain...

I have seen it for sale for a while though.. Its gotta be worth a look at.

Drivers bolster looks a little damaged and it has no nav screen,no heated seats, standard audio(crap)....Bit of a pov spec really.

I remember it being for sale before, great price though, worth a look IMO :driving:

Totally Darren..

Shouldnt it have had a inspection 2 last service?? Looks like its been avoided because of cost..

Ins 2 next but if not up to the mileage then oil and Brake fluid in July? ( I think  )

What is the service schedule meant to be for an M?

On this car it looks like Insp2 is probably near, missing nav/heated seats (if that's your thing). Otherwise well priced.

Seller mentioned that the breaks will need to be looked at in the future. Not sure if its disc or pad wear but regardless at 41k should that be an issue unless it was driven quite hard or are the breaks known to be high wear? I didn't see the lack of nav screen, heated seats and standard audio, I would like nav even though I use tomtom. Should I spend time and money visiting Scotland for this (i'm london based)???

Oil and BF

Ins 1

Oil and BF

Ins 2

Repeat

However if the mileage doesn't warrant a service then oil and BF every 2 years iirc
