Hi, finally got a day off and test drives in a few Zeds today and have utterly fallen for the Z4MR- :driving: so i am gonna go for it :)

Dealers don’t have the spec I am after and I can’t seem to find it elsewhere either. Thought there might be somewhere or someone out there that has seen what I want or is interested in trading up for the right deal. Happy to hear your views -Anyways, here goes......

What I am after

1st and foremost- I am really looking for a BMW AUC Z4MR, however willing to negotiate on this with a private seller IF the M has:
A full BMW main dealer service history incl. running in service with NO gaps or any issues
And a current warranty with the ability to extend at BMW dealers as required as the new owner

Alternatively happy to take the car from dealers once you have traded it in to them and they give me the AUC / 12 month warranty I really want

IDEAL SPEC Z4MRoadster

#3-Imola Red / Interlagos Blue

#2 - Caramel / Saddle Brown
#3 -Beige Oregon / Beige New England (although don’t think this is avail in “M” flavour)

#5 -red

Trim- NOT aluminium
#1 -Piano Black
#2 - Wood- Madeira Walnut or poplar
#3 –Carbon leather i.e. Black carbon-structure leather trim

Wheels- 18" M double spoke alloy wheels - style 224

Does cruise retrofit onto an M?

With difficulty, Andy has had it retrofitted but finding somebody to fit it is hard and nobody on here knows how to fit as far as I know.

Forget cd changer, go for intravee iPod integration instead.

Hi- I do not know, i know it sounds a bit funny i.e. Cruise control on an M, but i want to be able to set that baby at 70 when I am motorway & near speed traps etc, really don't want the points if you know what I mean....(-;

should I be looking to add it to Required list then ??

also very open to intravee option instead of changer

Cruise is a must, I use it a lot exactly for the roadworks and average speed cams etc.

Damn Man, y'all know that when the decision is made and the money is finally available its a real tough one to sit on your hands...anyone wanna loan me one for a wee while??

Aww shucks, itchy feet, itchy hands, guess I'll have to finally try the forza motorsport disk out in the 360 then, see if that will satiate me for 1/2 an hour

Mine is up for sale, might be a bit old for what you are looking for, but has all the toys, barr cruise, has the bmw warranty 7 months left and yes you can renew it next year (just going in to have the rear spring done on warranty) pm me if you want some more info.

I am going to be sad to see it go, but need the cash for another non car purchase and have too many cars, but if it does not sell i will not be upset.

You will not regret getting an M they are amazing cars.

You must have a low attention/concentration span :). I find it easy to keep at or below a certain speed at roadworks and average cams.
Doesn't cruise-con worsen fuel consumption slightly also

Had cruise con in an old 320td and found it of no real benefit personally.

M owners with cruise-con, heated seats and cupholders need a good kicking

Hi Inuit
I was really after one with between 25k max 30,000 miles on- however may be open to persuasion dep on history, useage and negotiated price... :D just been called out so will pm you later with some in depth questions, in the meantime...how much track work & sliding have you done in yours?

and NO i certainly do not fall for the "lady driver" stuff
regards, IwatchLive

Firstly I want to make clear I was not making any form of sexist statement :D with three sisters and no brothers that's the last thing I would do

I was referring to two different things, firstly in the text of Inuit's ad on PH she states "lady owner for the last 16 months" which is a known sales technique is it not? and secondly to comments made in previous posts by ladies on this forum (including Inuit) about not falling for said "lady driver" line itself, :)
