Wanted Z4M Parts

I am repairing an unrecorded Z4M roadster with very low mileage.

Im looking for:-

1 x 18" M Wheel
Bonnet
Passenger wing
Front Bumper
Vanos cover
Both Suspension legs (Got to be M ones or alpina roadster s) and related parts
Xenon Headlights
Passenger headlight cluster
passenger suspension turret and chassis leg. Has to have been unstitched properly and not butchered. CARS GOTTA LOOK SHOWROOM and is to keep
 
Would make a interesting intro / topic to follow danny & quite a shopping list to tick off :wink:
The bonnet , 224's ( more chance of a set ) & Xenon's are going to hit your budget hard i suspect :?
Good luck though & keep us posted on progress , "sim simma" did a similar project so maybe worth a PM to him :thumbsup:
 
Thanx mate. Ill post a pic in the next month or so when she is on road and finished.
The list is short compared to what i started with yesterday lol sumps, engine components etc etc.
Havent really set a budget, just buying daily whatever comes up.

Don't think i have ever seen a ZM bonnet for sale in my 2 years ? They are rare & pretty sure there was one "repaired" ZM popped up in the usual classifieds that quite clearly had a standard bonnet so if you do go down that route probably best not to put it up for sale on here :D

Are the suspension legs different?

The ///M wasn't out when the Alpina was so I don't think they are different to std.

Don't think i have ever seen a ZM bonnet for sale in my 2 years ? They are rare & pretty sure there was one "repaired" ZM popped up in the usual classifieds that quite clearly had a standard bonnet so if you do go down that route probably best not to put it up for sale on here :D

The last ///M bonnet I saw for sale here was in 2008 or 2009 when I was looking for my car and had yet to join the forum.
 
Agreed, rarer than rocking horse poo - all of the M bonnets I have seen have been attached to cars being broken with front end damage. I think they're a couple of grand new and unpainted :(

Car will never be for sale lol and parts i cant source will have to be brought from dealers......standard.
 
Im told the legs are different to the standard ones. Anyone clarify this please. Obvious the wishbones are different i.e wider.

Found a bonnet 900 quid with the hump in it. See if mine can be repaired first but if not it looks like i will have to purchase it. This car will look like it did when it rolled off the production line if it kills me and will look completely standard.

We were talking about that one on here, trying to get another member to put the engine in is 2.0l.

Nice to see it being rescued and put on the road.

I do have a nearside front wing, but it's not 100% It's in Black Sapphire and has been repaired. Most wouldn't spot (no did I at first) so I swapped it out. I wouldn't want to courier it, but if you are anywhere near the south east let me know.
 
Would be good to see the work in progress with some before, during and after pics
