All good points - debt is cheap at the moment, dealers are manipulating prices and adverts and putting 12 month old ones back on at higher prices - Hurlingham? In addition there is not much about, supply & demand kicks in - when you look at other cars at that price they do not look as flash, from that point you could probably get a flash car from > £300 per month....
When I bought one in Jan 2009 BMW Leeds had 2 other white ones, a sepang bronze with no sat nav pre registered £25,000 sat on the market for ages, that was in the recession though.
The two 1 owner ones recently were black 2007 27,000 miles £17,500 Dec 2014, blue 2006 30,000 Feb 2015 £16,250, both from northern dealers, you can add 20% if buying in the south east/easier travelling distance.

Get one bought! Life's too short...if you can afford to get into one now before summer then do it, you'll have a blast and remember your summer driving in 2015 as a good year. In September we will have a new term government, who will be going back on all their promises, interest rates will rise to 5% and petrol cars will all be completely worthless...enjoy this last summer of fun!
Here's my prediction of future prices.
Over the next couple of years ones with high miles will bottom out at about £11k and low mileage ones around £14k. After that they'll steadily rise over time in a similar fashion to other M BMWs.
Or I could be complete wrong. Take your pick.

Lot's of dealers leave ads up on piston heads to generate interest in their business. I guess they're hoping you'll click through to their website and find something else you'd like. I find it bloody annoying!!
