I’m currently looking for a BMW Z4M coupe, must be fewer than 20K miles and have Sat Nav, consider most colours expect Red.

I’m willing to pay a fair price for the car; I will pay more than you’ve been offered by the trade, but less than dealer prices. So a fair price for a private sale.

This seems quite well priced for a dealer car, certainly compared to some of the other on AUC.

If it was nearer I'd buy it, if it seemed ok.

When I was on the look out for a Porsche 996, I did a bit of traveling and saw some right wrecks, kind of puts me off traveling more than an hour now. Other peoples idea of a "mint car" isn't mine :oops:
 
Why not call the dealer? I know when I initially enquired on a test drive for a Z4M my local dealer arranged for one to come down from the Midlands for it. Ok, not as far but they might be able to assist you? Worth a try.

If the car is AUC then I would be suprised if it isn't in good nick, they do have standards to adhere to.
 
I might be looking to sell. It's a 2007 car with lots of mods (all subtle) and a lot of money spent on it.

I still have mine for sale. It's not moved since we talked on the phone. Sleeping in the garage waiting for summer to finally hit Glasgow (if ever!).
 
You''ll have to reduce your price if you want to sell it, it's a nice car but, you never get won't get back what you spend on mods and can't add it on to the sale price when you try and sell. The wheels add value of course, but cars with a better spec can be bought from a main dealer for less cash.
 
2007s are going for $40,000 - $44,000 here depending on miles and options. Lots and lots around, lots of new ones unsold as well.

Thats insane. But the your cars are half price, you're looking at $57-$63k for the same car here.

Oddly though your BMs seem to depreciate less, I noticed this on M3s too; a new Z4MC starts at $81,000 plus options here.
